In the dead of night, Qiu Zhibin returned to the Qiu residence in search of the real murder weapon. There, he fell into an ambush set by Qiu Haor and the police. It was all a deliberate trap. As they escorted Qiu Zhibin to the police station, an unexpected car accident occurred. Seizing the opportunity, Qiu Zhibin kidnapped Qiu Haor. Just then, another car arrived. Qiu Zhitong relayed this to Qiu Haor, who surprisingly found solace in the idea, believing that a break from recent events might improve her spirits.
